ERASMUS+ YOUTH EXCHANGE: "Safety is NOT Automatic"

In our country, every year, fatal traffic accidents, unfortunately, reach very high numbers.

The number of accidents and the number of injured people has increased since 2008, although the number of casualties in the accident site has not been at the desired level. Traffic safety is very important both by our country and the European Union, and measures are taken to reduce accidents and increase safety. Although the European Union has made great efforts for the security of its citizens, there are still issues worthy of consideration. One of these problems is the high accident and death rates on the roads. The main cause of accidents and deaths is road safety deficiencies and
insufficient first aid information.

The objectives of our project are to find ideas to reduce traffic accidents both at the project site and in partner countries. In addition, our project aims to improve the problem-solving and decision- making skills of the participants and to provide creative thinking and self-confidence. A GET CONNECTED: wide range of non-formal education methods will be used throughout the activities to achieve the objectives of our project.
