CALL FOR ITALIAN PARTICIPANTS
ERASMUS+ SPORT: " Move to Improve "
ABOUT THE PROJECT: With the increasing digital entertainment availability, youth often overlook the importance of sports and physical activity. Statistics show that 90% of young people use computers and watch TV every day(Eurostats). This naturally leads to less physical activity, and consequently higher obesity and other health problems (WHO statistics show that prevalence of obesity nearly doubled between1980 and 2018). At the same time, youth have less time for live communication with their peers;
thus, can develop further social barriers.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
• exchange knowledge and practices on social inclusion through sports in the participating
• find implementable ways to incorporate it into the youth work;
• raise social awareness about the importance of social inclusion through sports and sports
PARTICIPANTS: The Youth exchange will involve 6 organizations and 24 young people from 6
countries: LITHUANIA, CROATIA, BULGARIA,NORWAY, ITALY, HUNGARY
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: 3 participants (18-29 y.o.) + 1(group leade no age limit)
Being older than 18 years old
Ready to take part in the Erasmus Sport projects and it's activities
Be able to communicate English
With experiences in youth field and Erasmus+
DATES: 19 March - 25 March 2019 (19 & 25 Travel days)
LOCATION: Kaunas, Lithuania
FINANCIAL DETAILS:The organizers will cover the following costs with the support of the European Commission:
100% of meals, accommodation, activities costs;
Transport cost up to 275 EUR per participant
