ERASMUS+ YOUTH EXCHANGE: " Eco-Friendly Heroes "

ABOUT THE PROJECT: Planet Earth cannot stand the current rhythm of world population growth. The superficiality of human behaviour is not sustainable anymore, constantly putting the Earth in danger. Pollution has a great impact on mankind and the environment as a whole. It leads to environmental
degradation, human health issues, global warming, ozone layer depletion, infertile land, and
more. Thus, finding a remedy is a top priority.



The main aim of the project is to head towards a change in European youth’s behaviour and
habits in order to reach an Eco-friendly lifestyle.

 The objectives to reach this goal are to:

• to increase youth’s awareness about the environmental problems in Europe
• to identify the most common negative outcomes of people’s habits concerning
environment, as well as find ways to tackle that
• to promote an Eco-sustainable behaviour by getting closer to the nature and the things it
• to encourage youth’s proactive approach towards green initiatives
• to share practices of Eco-friendly lifestyle among European countries and increase youth’s

PARTICIPANTS: The Youth exchange will involve 6 organizations and 36 young people from 6
 countries: Norway, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Portugal and Turkey

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:   5 participants (18-29 y.o.) + 1(group leade no age limit) 

  • Being older than 18 years old 

  • Ready to take part in the Youth Exchange and youth exchange's activities

  •  Be able to communicate English

  • With experiences in youth field and Erasmus+


DATES:  03 April  - 11 April 2019 (03 & 11 Travel days)

LOCATION: Kaunas, Lithuania

FINANCIAL DETAILS:The organizers will cover the following costs with the support of the European Commission: 

  • 100% of meals, accommodation, activities costs; 

  • Transport cost up to 275 EUR per participant
